Es una dicotomia muy común : "si la gente me dice que esta bueno, es realmente bueno o solo lo dicen por quedar bien? o "solo solo a mi me gustan mis trabajos, soy alguien q solo le importa lo que digo yo?". Si bien general la mejor respuesta puede ser alo mas promediando las dos coss, creo q todo pasa por un tema de los objetivos de uno: si uno busca q la gente se identifique y q lo que uno hace agrade a los demás, o si lo hace simplemente para expresarse y plasmar sus pensamientos y sentimientos en sus trabajos y la respuesta de la gente es secundaria... son cosas q con la madurez uno logra separa e identificar mejor, y mientras tenga eso en claro uno no deberia hacerse mas problemas por ello.
